Should Samantha Geimer (Samantha Geimer at the time) have a say so in Polanski’s sentencing? Should his contributions to culture weigh aganst the heinousness of the crime? Please comment. We have, for decades and decades, looked past the religious to the world of the celebrity for the icons and archetypes that we worship. The are many subtle levels of iconography, and somewhere on that spectrum is Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, and Freddy Krueger.

news– Michael Dougherty, writer/director of “Trick ‘r Treat,” WILL BE
APPEARING IN PERSON NEXT WEEKEND AT TERROR IN THE AISLES 2! Also added
to the bill is Dougherty’s short film “Season’s Greetings,” the short
that led him to develop “Trick ‘r Treat!”
